Quante volte è capitato di decidere di fare un po’ di pulizia in casa e gettare via ciò che non piace più o che si reputa ormai vecchio, inutile e in disuso?

Quando questo accade, la maggior parte delle cose finiscono all’interno dei secchi della spazzatura, nelle discariche o gettati via per strada. Nonostante molte persone gettino via alcuni oggetti con totale noncuranza, ce ne sono moltissime altre che, alla vista di alcune meraviglie, non esitano a recuperarle, scoprendo solo dopo il grande valore che queste hanno.

Spesso, davanti a questi ritrovamenti speciali, le persone sono rimaste incredule, decidendo così di mostrare i loro bottini sul web. Abbiamo deciso di raccogliere le immagini che raccontano le scoperte più straordinarie che sono state effettuate per puro caso, nella spazzatura.

1 Un anello ritrovato in un cassonetto, ripulito e una volta fatto valutare, scoperto che ha un valore di oltre 200 dollari.

I found this ring in the dumpster on Monday! Had it appraised yesterday and found out it’s a handmade gold ring from the 60s-70s! It’s 14k gold band is worth $200+ (stone is glass). I also found those tiny hands with it haha from DumpsterDiving

$175 watch was damaged out for having a broken clasp. Took it to the watch repair kiosk at the mall and he said it wasn’t broken, they just didn’t know how to work the self adjusting clasp. from DumpsterDiving
